Eric and Todd deep-dive into the middle movie of the prequel era and determine that they like this a lot more than they remember. The prequels have something of a bad reputation and the Hersey boys prefer to focus on the good bits.
The notable exceptions being that Todd is less than happy with the dialog in some spots….and don’t get Eric started on droid sportsball!
As the boys discuss the film, they make note of the chase scene in Coruscant. After the chasing is done, they step into what appears to be a sports bar (known as the Outlander Club). Eric would have loved more practical effects for the characters in the bar. Maybe this would make them more memorable.
Thanks to the Internet, we can pull out some of these patrons and check out their backstory.
Obi-Wan did not need death sticks.
Elan Sel’Sabagno, also known as Elan Sleazebaggano, was a Balosar medical student on Coruscant who fell in with a bad crowd. He eventually became a slythmonger, and dealt death sticks in the Outlander Club in the Uscru Entertainment District.

Turns out we weren’t the only ones searching on the Internet for these background characters. Just Google “Outlander Club Characters” and you will get a nice list right at the top of the search.
Looks like there were more practical effects used than Eric remembered.
